Hello!  My name is Kim Butts.  I am excited to be your child's fourth grade teacher.  I would like to share a little bit about myself.  I am a Decatur County native.  I have lived in various cities throughout the years due to family employment.  Having had this opportunity, I met many different people from different cultures.  Meeting these people have been the best part!  

While living in Northern Kentucky, I returned to school to earn my bachelor's degree in elementary education.  I graduated with cum laude honors in May of 2006.    I am currently enrolled at WGU's Master's in Educational Leadership program.  I have three beautiful, wonderful children:  Megan, Mitchell, and Matthew Taylor.  Megan is a grad student at Florida International University in Miami, Florida, Mitchell is a high school science teacher at Brownstown Central High School, and Matthew is a sophomore at Indiana University.  My husband's name is Gary.  

This makes my 11th year at Greensburg Elementary School.  I feel truly blessed to be back in my home town teaching the children of this community.
